Harmonizing Exercise


There are many Twisting practices. All of them are different but have common logic which is based on the Twist therapy. This makes them easy to learn and practice. Among patients who enjoyed practicing them are of age ranges from the youngest of the 19 days old newborn to the oldest of 94 years old.
The typical physical exercise could cause pain and discomfort preventing its completion, while the Twist Therapy is based on comfort and relaxation. The most therapeutic twist motions are those in an opposite direction from a painful one. They should not cause any discomfort. Those are the ones that should be performed at larger amplitude and for a longer time.
The Harmonizing Twist Exercise is uncomplicated and used for diagnostic purposes. This exercise is composed of 4 movements, which symbolize four directions of the globe, four seasons, four elements. The synergy of these fundamental forces fills the body with power, energy, serenity and freshness generating a harmonizing effect.
The instant effectiveness and ease of exercise of these Twisting practice are characterized by subsequence of fundamental forces. Yang always wants to lead, stand up, to be the first. That is why we start any complex of exercises from left upper position with all turns twisting back as far as possible. The opposite direction has Yin characteristics. Yin and Yang are always the opposite, as well as Neutro and Neuto:
Ø Yang – upper left
Ø Yin – down right
Ø Neuto – down left
Ø Neutro – upper right
Imagine you stand in your room and each of your motion directs you to the different corners of the back wall of the room.
Important: you should not feel any pain! If you have some problem, be careful. Do your motion to the amplitude before the pain will appear.  You need to stop when pain is going to appear. The opposite direction will be healing for you. You can do it to maximum amplitude. This is rule of Twist therapy.
Stretch your arms and body to the back- left-upper direction. Imagine you are trying to get the back-left-upper corner of the back wall of the room.
Then by down spiral way move your arms to the next position.  Bend your body and direct your arms to the back- right-down direction.  Imagine you are trying to get the back-right-down corner of the back wall of the room.
After this move your arms to the next position follow through the middle front position. Bend your body and direct your arms to the back- left-down direction. Imagine you are trying to get the back-left-down corner of the back wall of the room. 
Then by rising spiral way move your arms to the next position.  Stretch your arms and your body to the back- right-upper direction. Imagine you are trying to get the back-right-upper corner of the back wall of the room.
Then repeat again. Finally you will draw the “infinity” sign.
If you like to get energetic effect, try to do your motions smoothly like swinging ocean’s waves.  The finishing of previous motion has to proceed to the next motion.
This is common complex for the whole body and effects to the every organ and every part of the body from your toes to the tips of fingers.
Repeat 4 - 16 sets, the more, the better. You can start from 4 sets and gradually increase to 16. It takes no more than 2 minutes to complete 64 movements, but gives you the better result as spending a whole hour in the gym.
The sequential alternation of expansion and contraction, extension and bending, left to right and right to left rotations, and the influence of the spiral component provides a harmonizing healing effect that activates the spiral energy system.
It is safe, easy to do and has fast result.
You can achieve best results by practicing different basic positions and also using mantras and mudras, variations of breath, smiles, twists etc., that help you increase or decrease an impact of external or internal factors.
This basic exercise you can practice by any parts of your body (neck, hips, shoulders, belly, eyes, nose etc). You can practice it standing, moving, sitting, lying.
The result of this activity is the recovery of motion amplitude of patients with spine and joint problems, cerebral palsy, disseminated sclerosis and many other disorders. It improves your health if you have coronary heart disease, bronchial asthma, chronic illness of the belly and pelvis etc.
You can vary effect of this exercise using directions of the Globe: facing to the East fill you with Yang influence, facing to the West with Yin, South brings you Neutro harmonizing energy and North as Neuto, make you more calm.
