Su Jok

Su Jok acupuncture is the modern revise of ancient eastern medicine. It is developed by Korean professor Park J. Woo. Su Jok in Korean means: su – hand, jok – foot. Thus we can find all parts of our body on the hand and foot. Science of Su Jok has deep philosophy fundament, blameless logic and significant philanthropic trend. Professor Park created the strong modern theory which can explain the principle of treating action of ancient eastern renewal practice. Su Jok has many levels of treatment, many correspondent systems. It includes treating by needles, seeds, color and other stimulators. It has two steps of using. It is accessible to everyone as way for self- helping. Also it is the high effective method for treating of hard diseases by high qualified doctors. My relation with Su Jok started in 1994, when I studied on the seminar of the professor Park Je Woo at the first time. The duration of this seminar was only three weeks. For me as an Asian person the Acupuncture is not some unusual treatment. But doctors for being in this occupation are studying for many years in Mongolia and China. Because of this I had tried to reject when my chief recommended me to study on this seminar. Then I could not see how is it possible to explain such difficult to understand for European thinking people knowledge of Eastern Medicine in so short time. The auditorium was various in educational level and in age, but all of us were only pupils of the professor Park. He had hoped to give us such unusual, volume and difficult in understanding theory and practice of Eastern Medicine only in twenty one days. Then I had worked as doctor in rehabilitation department of city child clinic and had treated children with chronic diseases, infants with prenatal damages of central nervous system and disabled children etc. I tried to apply Su Jok to almost all my patients. I was inspired by results of this treatment. There were acute and chronic diseases, simple and hard curable cases. The most interesting for me was the infant of three months age. He was directed to me by surgeon who cut the net of nappy, which was winded round his third toe. But the toe of infant’s foot still retained brown color and edema. The toe amputation threatened. I didn’t know what kind of physical therapy I can order for this tiny little toe. With no options, I offered them Su Jok therapy. It was first time when I applied the acupuncture for such little baby. I put only one needle in correspondent point. Then I heated it. On the next day I was so surprised when I saw absolutely healthy toe. Since this case I began to apply Su Jok for infants.
During these years I treated a large number of infants who have prenatal damages of central nervous system. The neurologists, orthopedists and pediatricians directed to me for the treatment patients because they saw the efficiency of Su Jok therapy. There were children suffered of acute and chronic intrauterine hypoxia, birth injury, intrauterine pneumonia, congenital dysplasia of the hip joint, malformations and other pathology. I had treated them in correspondent system on the big toe because it is more useful for treating of babies. Also I have often used color, seeds and electro puncture as non-painful treatment. Treating of babies on the first year of life prevents development of many chronic diseases later. Than younger child than is better efficiency. There is statistically proofed reduction in three times of morbidity of these children on the second year of their life. I collected enough amount clinical cases of effective treating of disabled children. The efficiency of this treatment is proofed by the time. The benefits of Su Jok are in its simplicity, efficiency, security and availability.
